MontanaPBS Debate Night: Race for the U.S. Senate – Fall 2012

This is one of the most closely watched political races in the country. Montana Public Media partners present the first televised debate between incumbent U.S. Senator Jon Tester and challenger U.S. Representative Denny Rehberg. A panel of journalists will question the candidates in front of a live audience at the Petro Theater on the campus of MSU-Billings.

Watch the debate video, originally aired  on MontanaPBS on Monday, October 8 .

Yellowstone Public Radio and Montana Public Radio will air the debate live and MTPR will provide post debate analysis hosted by Sally Mauk and featuring political science professors Christopher Muste and Rob Saldin.

    Excellent comments on the Tester/Rehberg debate, although I thought Bob’s comments in support of Rehberg were not balanced by ones by others for Tester.
    Interview with the gal next week who plans to give more on the candidates’ record in Congress might look not only at the number of bills proposed by each, but their content: were they to name a post office or pass significant legislation that required bipartisan efforts, etc.
